Btw @J Au 2 questions to you.1. Can you match up the working property on the specific instrument?Let me give you a hint.- AI works on Rigidity- TC works on ?- DI works on ?
2. Can you tell us how do these 3 instrument work? (Working Principle)
like how does AI measure pitching and rolling motion
Please ans it short and precise* Better to watch the animation on youtube for more understandingSince gyroscopic inst. is complicated and abstract topic.
my understanding is that since gyro is rigid in space, it is able to maintain its original position and remain unchanged, irrespective of any movement of the aircraft, such that it can be used to measure the heading and attitude of the aircraft.
Precession is that when there is a rotation of the gyro, a force of 90 degree in the direction of motion is occurred. Then how does it help in the design of instrument?
