係piston engine入面，Power-stroke為整個engine提供能量，當combustion的時候出現問題就會對engine有好大影響。
而最常見的abnormal combustion就是 Detonation 和 Pre-ignition。
Detonation 可以解作為爆炸，亦是因為高溫高壓而導致的自燃現象。
而造成Detonation的原因有:
too low fuel grade
overly lean mixture
excessive manifold pressure
over-heated engine
**有可能係pilot推左throttle先過推prop rpm既情況發生。
嚴重的detonation係會對engine造成破壞，所以當遇上detonation的徵兆，
例如：rough running, high cylinder head temp, lose power quickly...
就要做以下解決方法：
enrich the mixture
reduce power
increase airspeed to cool down the CHT
ensure the carb heat is off
Pre-ignition 就是fuel-air mixture 係spark plug ignition之前就已經燃點左，即是premature ignition~
而造成 Pre-ignition 的原因是
因為有 hot-spot (e.g.carbon deposit) 留在cylinder入面，又或者overheated spark plug，
就會早左燃點起 fuel-air mixture，就會導致 rough running, possible back-firing, a sudden rise in the CHT…
而解決方法就同detonation一樣，都係收power，rich mixture，目的都是降溫~
最緊要都是要make sure用岩fuel grade!
咁佢地之間有咩最大分別呢？
pre-ignition多數發生係一個cylinder入面；而detonation多數會係所有cylinders發生。
因為pre-ignition個成因係有hot spot，而hot spot可能只會出現係其中一個cylinder；而detonation個成因係fuel-air mixture temp太高，所以會發生係所有cylinders。
**有時pre-ignition都會導致detonation嫁!
