Aileron Reversal 係指 Aileron 做緊一啲同平時相反嘅野,例如:正常轉左嘅時候 ,左邊嘅Aileron 係 down going, 右邊嘅Aileron 係up going 嘅,而係 aileron reversal 嘅情況架飛機會唔轉/ 向右轉 ~
Aileron Reversal 分別會發生係 Low Speed & High Speed~
Low Speed
如果係好高嘅AOA 飛緊嘅時候再deflect aileron downward,咁原本係up going wing 就會stall,變成down going wing,呢就係 low speed aileron reversal~

High Speed
係 high speed 嘅時候aileron deflect ,其實機翼係會受到 aerodynamic forces 嘅影響,而呢個forces 大過機翼本身嘅rigidity 時,隻翼就會twist。
Down going aileron 嘅情況下,隻翼會向下twist ,咁AOA 會細左,然後lift 就會減少,最後去到一定程度之後,原本係up going wing 最後就會變成down going wing ~
Up going aileron 嘅情況下就係同down going aileron 嘅情況完全相反 ,最後由原本嘅down going wing 變成 up going wing~

為左減少呢個問題,jet aircraft 通常都會有 outboard aileron & inboard aileron,同埋會用spoilers 去進行rolling maneuvers~
Outboard aileron 只會係low speed 嘅時候用到; 而 inboard aileron 就所有時間都會用到,因為inboard aileron 嘅位置係會比outboard aileron 嘅位置stiff,所以相對上冇咁易有wing twist 嘅情況~
用spoilers 去roll 嘅原因同inboard aileron 嘅原因其實都一樣,因為spoiler 位置嘅 structure 亦都係比較 stiff,所以wing twist 嘅情況都會比較少~
