Bingo Fuel is military slang for the minimum fuel required.
喺civil aviation, 我地會用Minimum Fuel.
我解釋之前,要明白Fuel planning.
Fuel Planning:
1. Trip Fuel(T/O, Cruise, Descent, Landing)
2. Alternate Fuel for diversion
3. Holding Fuel(Jet:30mins, GA: 45 Mins)
4. Contingency fuel( 15mins, 5%)
*Required Fuel = Sum of item 1 - 4
5. Taxi Fuel (400 - 500KG)
6. Extra Fuel (MEL, Loading, NOTAM[Weather], ATC Delay) *Total Fuel = Sum of item 1 - 6
咁如果飛到destination之後有traffic, 到底可以hold 幾耐?同幾時先要divert?
咁就要find out 個Minimum Fuel.
就係將Alternate Fuel + Holding Fuel (30mins) (有d公司會有5% buffer)
當Fuel on Board 接近 Minimum fuel ge 時侯就要開始assess 個situation. 要決定 可以繼續hold定係要divert.
記住任何時侯,如果expect land 左之後會小過30mins Holding fuel,就要declare MAYDAY FUEL
我係飛行學校有時會幫手幫其他飛機入油....
真心見過有人油缸得翻 7-8 litres 油 (around 2 gallons)
但部機係燒緊 25 litres per hour...真心嚇親之後報左俾 CFI 知
等佢私下同個 pilot 傾傾....(我地的 Day VFR reserve 係 Destination + 30mins)
所以次次我飛之前都會睇翻哂架機的入油紀錄同 tacho 同飛左幾耐....
估計下上兩手用左幾多油再 check 油錶再決定我自己帶幾多油出去....
我個人要求至少留 1 hr reserve 或以上....天氣唔好再拎多少少 有必要時都可以搵其他地方落地
